Born in a crescent moon reflection, in a place that never sleeps, Gabriella had the sensibility of silent forms etched in her mind, before she knew how to articulate what a structure was, or could be. A child of imaginative play, she spent countless hours exploring the alluding veins of Gothic cathedrals with her fingers, and surreptitiously felt the throbbing pulse of time and history flow through her fingertips. She now sculpturally conjures light and geometry into perceptive visions of haunted spaces, that linger in your mind long after you look away.

Her process? A ritual. Gabriella burns midnight oil, like there is little time, as if she can bend pixels to her will, with bonded intensity. Her studio almost blinding under dozens of screens casting bright and vivid colours against the evening darkness. The room fills with heady espresso, and something darker floats the air - ambition, maybe obsession. She doesn’t merely present buildings, she reveals the spirit. And when she steps back, and even those architects standing as a servant and commissioning are pausing in their absorption that they remain unsettled and aroused by the way that Gabriella has left exposed the insatiable hunger in their architectural gestures.

Where/what/how does Gabriella exist? Is she a phantasm of balletic stares in fierce and floral Prada? A muse with a master’s degree? She will never say. She twists her lips into a smile that broadly says, "you will need to elongate me first" - and damn, if we don’t want to try?
